Five Arrested Monday in 2008 Federal Marijuana Case

CALI. - Five men were arrested by the FBI Monday in connection with marijuana raids that were conducted in Humboldt County in 2008.

FBI Special Agent Joseph Schadler said he would only release the names of those arrested and the towns they were arrested in.

Nathaniel Pollette was arrested in Alderpoint; Clark Wilkinson was arrested in Phillipsville; Robert Juan was arrested in Eureka; Donovan Henry was arrested in Whitethorn; and Graeson Prescott was arrested in Shelter Cove.

"Operation Southern Sweep" was conducted in June 2008.

Nearly 30 warrants were served across Humboldt County and the northern tip of Mendocino County during the raids.

Humboldt County towns with raided properties include Arcata, McKinleyville, Shelter Cove, Whitethorn, Redway, Ettersburg, Garberville, Miranda and Phillipsville.

About 250 agents participated in "Southern Sweep" and confiscated a number of marijuana plants, the value of which was estimated at the time to be between $25 million and $60 million.
