Ok first let me say i used the search function I found a ton of info on Gnats in soil but not on hydro.
My problem is minor but after all the effort ive put in and the success i don’t want this to get out of hand. Once in a blue moon i see a gnat fly around but not every time I’m in the grow. I am finding them drowned in my reservoir for my NFT system. Plants are doing great area is kept super clean and sealed. i am running Fox Farm trio and supplementing GH Calmag no dirt and plants are in clay pellets so no soil. I’ve added 3% peroxide to the reservoir as a preventative. i am still finding gnats in it dead though and occasionally one flying around. i realize they are coming from eggs but where what’s a safe and simple way to get rid of them. I am in week 5 from clone veging into the screen
