We all know (about) grow tents. What I often don't see when I browse them on the net is the maximum recommended power output for light(s) inside. Is there some thumb rule we can calculate this with or what?

We typically follow this:
3x3 - 400w
4x4 - 600w
5x5 - 1000w
3x3 - 400w
4x4 - 600w
5x5 - 1000w

Very well put there MR. Bones. I ran my 4x4 with a 1000w HPS, just gotta make sure you have very very good exhaust and intake the air has to be moving. Mine with the 4 inch inline fan would suck the sides of the tent in when it kicked on and literally pulled the side vents open . Not recommended maybe buy if you can vent the light and the room and have air pushed in all was good . Peace JJ thanks for being here. OG
