harvesting top budz and letting the rest continue?

can i harvest some of the buds and let the undergrowth that hasn't seen as much light continue to ripen??? or will this kill the plant?

You can do this. It is a fairly common practice for indoors.

The only negative thing is that your plant will stop growing for a while ,that doesn't mean it's going to die just kinda rest while it gets over the shock of you hacking it's top half off ! Other than that you and your plant will be fine and continue to pack more weight on those buds !!

what about flushing do u flush harvest the top then start nutes again

I don't flush harvast the top but i change nutes and water every 7 days and add just water in between (every 4 days). I go with just straight water the last week but i really don't worry about flushing. Guess i should look into that more...lol
