Heat Stress or PH problem - Need Advice

I have several plants that are mature but it seems like over night the leaves started turning brown on one side of each finger of the leaf. The finger is not only brown in color but kinda dry also, the plants are grown outside we have had only a day or two of 90 degree weather. The plants get some direct sunlight with partial shade at the same time.

I did just do some topping of the plants so i am not to sure if that could have caused this recent problem and removed some of the older large fan leaves. So the smaller leaves mid way down the plant could get more sunlight .

You need this post in the sub-forum of this forum, the "Problems, Pests & Disease Control" forum, I think you would have answers by now. I think you need to contact an administrator to do this, as I don't think they would want you putting a 2nd post over there. I am not experienced enough to give you answer, and I am an indoor grower anyway, really not familiar with outdoor grow.
