How big before flowering

Just wondering how big the plants should be before starting 12/12?My plants are only about 8" tall but are on their 5-6 nodes.Wondering if I could start flowering them or should I wait? I am not worried about yield right now as this first grow is for experience only.Thanks

How much vertical space do you have? Marijuana plants will likely almost triple in height when flowered so if you flipped the lights now, you'd end up with 2 footers when they are finished.

I built the cab for 64" of grow room.Now with the light up tight I would have approx. 5 feet of height.

with 5 feet of vertical space you can veg them until they are 15 inches tall if you'd like. What type of lights are you using?

They are under a 400 watt MH right now....I have an HPS bulb here for flowering.My ballast will take either one and I got both bulbs with the light.

Switch em at 12-15 inches for solid 3 footers. Good luck.
