jiffy cubes?

I'm starting my second grow,(my first one ended sadly, but that's a different story). Anyway, I read about people using "jiffy cubes" for seedlings, and I like the idea, so I bought something, I'm not sure if it's right.

I have two questions about it: Is this the right product? Theyr'e called Peat Pellets, Theyr'e about 1/4" thick with a hole in them
and expand when water is added.

Also, the directions say to put the seeds in them, and wait for germination. I was thinking of germinating in a towel, as usual, then going to the pellets. That way I don't waste pellets on bad seeds.

Anyone used these before?

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll do it in soil, like last time, that worked fine.

I only spent $4 on them, I'll use them for tomatoes, or peppers, or something.

alright m8!!! you can use the jiffy peat pellets without a problem!!
like "RACEFAN" said they do stay quite soggy easy way to get around that is to expand them, then leave them to dry out a bit for 1-2 days then when they are just moist to the touch stick your clones!!!!
