JustDrew's Mixed Strain Run: Brazil Amazonian, Pakistan Valley, Big Devil, Not Auto

I'm an old school Seattle grower who ran hydro in the 90s who is learning to love dirt after all these years...
Genetics aquired at Good Hope Hydroponics in Washington DC during one of their cloning clinics.
5x5x6.5 ft crappy ipower tent
24 incht-5HO Hagen GLO (these things have a fantastic reflector - things of beauty if you can find them at the right price
Generic T-5(not HO)Home Depot 2 x T-5 Grow Light @ $48
kind XL750
Fox Farm Ocean Forest all the way
1 Gal fabric pots to start and 3 Gal to finish
There are only going to be 4 plants finishing
General Organics Go Box
Terpinator
Tetra Aquasafe
Fox Farm Bush Doctor Wetting Agent
Myco rooting agent from First State Seed Company: Myco Root WebStar

Lots of ventilation
Active Air 6 inch inline fan with Phat 450 filter for funk exhaust.
Totally overkill for this tent, but keeping the exhaust fan at 50% keeps things quiet
4 6 inch passive intakes for fresh air with bug/light blockers.
Lots of folks with tents miss the passive air intake..this is hugely important
One desktop 16 inch oscillator on the ground to provide low level circulation.
one mid level Hurricane oscillator that was a complete fail, Device is blowing diagonally across the tent; oscillation stopped after 4 weeks.
This is the girls on the starting table under T-5

These came out of the cloner about 3 weeks ago and went into solo cups.
I'm running 3 T-5 24 watt bulbs, so the growth is slooooooow, but I need to stall these plants because I only have one tent and their mothers are still finishing. The mothers look to be running a touch more than 9 weeks in bloom and are just frosty. We'll see how these go.
Today was the first time they have been fed with anything other than plain old water.

1 Gallon smart pots. Straight Fox Farm Ocean Forest.
Watered with General Organics Bio Root, CalMag, Superthrive, and BushDoctor Sledge Hammer.
All at half recommended dosage.
This time around I will be using Tetra Aquasafe to treat the chloramines in my water; hey I paid good money for all that wonderful live microbial bio buddies in the Fox Farm why kill them off?
Sprayed with SNS 217 for mite prevention. I don't have bugs, but I like to spray a couple of times 2 days apart during the early veg.

A note on these cloth pots: I try to pack the sides pretty tight during transplants to keep voids from forming on the sides of the root ball.
As the plant drys between watering the dirt is going to pull back from the sides of the pot anyway; this is my first go-round with packing the sides tight...so we'll see how it goes.

I've been trying to keep on top of topping every 3rd internode, and I plan on keeping that up right up until the lights get flipped. No Christmas trees here...we're going for maximum bushiness.

Any leaf damage so far has been caused by a little orange tabby that's developed a taste for fresh greens. All the lower foliage is going away when these get lolipopped anyway.

These clones were taken 7 days after I flipped the lights and started popping roots in 8 days using the EZClone classic. My only mod to it was to drop an air stone in it driven by an air pump rated for a 10 Gallon fish tank. I left them in there a couple of weeks until the roots had gotten really long. (Sorry, no root porn)

Update.
4 Weeks under T-5. General Organics Go Box nutes once a week at half strength/dosage.
Plants recovering nicely from FIMMing. I will probably top them again in the next week. I am seeing some roots at different heights coming out of the smart pots.
Really happy with the myco I am using

We are looking very healthy. during the week I will be bending stalks sideways.
The distance between internodes is getting pretty large because of the low light wattage.
Bending these over should help create a flatter canopy later.
We'll see in a couple of months....

Hope all is well in your world.

How did this grow turn out?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.
