Leaf Problem

Problem:
I have something weird going on with one branch of one of my plants. For the past few days several of the leaves on this branch have been looking really shiny. Like they were wet or waxed or something. Now it looks like they have some kind of weird puckering going on along the edges. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it almost looks like someone ran a real tight 1/4 inch long stitch with a sewing machine between each of the veins with redish brown thread.

Any idea what it is or what I should do about it?

Yep, one branch. All of the leaves on this branch were are looking shiny and wet, but only the upper leaves are getting the weird puckering at the edges.

It looks to me like possible light burn, and maybe the wet look was from the plant transpiring (sweating) in an effort to protect itself. Were they actually wet, or just appeared to be?
