Marc Emery Sent To Georgia Jail

BC's "Prince of Pot" is going to a Georgia prison. Marc Emery's wife, Jodie, says he was supposed to go to a prison in California, but she just found out that's not going to happen.

"It's a very long trip (for me). It's twice as far. We thought he was going to be in California. I'm still going to try to visit him twice a month," she tells News1130.

She says she wasn't given any reason why Marc is being sent to Georgia. He was sentenced to five years in prison for selling marijuana seeds to US customers.

No way can Jodie be safe carrying in Georgia. Marc pissed off the the US Justice department and they are showing how miserable they can make him and his wife. I bet they would relish in causing a divorce. It will take her all day to fly from BC to Georgia. That is not even considering all the hassles she will have crossing the border etc.
