I've been reading a bit of the analysis behind the Michigan vote. Some of the facts are beyond encouraging.
Not only did the vote pass by a 25% margin, but we won all 83 counties in the state
It was a complete skunk 83 to 0 (pun intended)
More people voted for MMJ than vote for Obama
Even the counties that voted for McCain voted for MMJ
This is the kind of shutout that might help those shriveled cojones of politicians in neighboring states realize it's not such a risk to give the people what they want.
What I mean is that politicians are typically cowards and tend to follow the winds of public opinion. Given this overwhelming statement by the voters these politicos should start to become scared they are at risk being on the wrong side of the issue.
After all, most politicians only have one core belief, and it involves keeping their job
