Hey guys, just posting an update from my first thread

Thread 'Ozzie coastal buds'
Ozzie coastal buds

Keen to get anyone’s feedback as I am a first time grower.

Again, it looks like there are seed-like pods forming but squeezed one and they are not hard - see photos. Not sure what these are.

same questions as last time;
1) is it a hermi?
2) is it healthy
3) how long (approx) until it’s ready to harvest.

thanks in advance

Welcome to 420magazine my friend. :welcome: Cute girl.
Those seed pods are called calyxes. As long as they have hairs sticking they are fine. Balls from males don't have hairs.
What strain is it ? Where did you get the seed? What day are you on?

Hi Bill

thanks for the help and appreciate the feedback

no idea what the strain is, it was from donated seeds.

also no idea what day it is. I would guess they were planted around the end of November/ start December so that makes it roughly 120-150 days.

When the fresh light colored fluffy pistils turn to a darker color and crinkle up then you are getting closer. I’m going to shout at @Bill284 again, hey Bill whats up with the splotchy yellow patches on the TT’s fan leaves... maybe thrips?
Thanks 013

I can’t see any bugs and the spots only appeared this week.

I just switched fertiliser and may have overdone it; could be that.

it’s also been super humid if that potentially has anything to do with it.

I can see a dead bug plain as day in 2nd pic above your hand.
But I think you have a nutrient problem aswell. I can't remember what's in your pot and what are you feeding.? Are you giving any cal mag?
If its not soil what's your ph?
Bill

I can‘t see that great on my tablet but I was wondering about that. If that critter died while munching greenery then you can bet his family, friends and lovers are all nearby. Lift that sucker off with a piece of clear scotch tape careful so you don’t rip the leaf and get a zoomed up mug shot
@013 @Bill284

here is the little critters. There are certainly more nibbled leaves today compared to last week.

I will review in more detail when it’s light tomorrow along with PH.

any suggestions on pest control

Safers soap. Raise your lights or move plants away from the lights, spray it on and let it dry, then rinse it off. Consider doing a bud wash when you take the harvest, I do a bud-wash every time as part of my standard harvest procedure. This is a long thread first page or two will get you there, the rest are mostly comments or questions. Bud washing

Seria naturals is a sponsor. Good stuff.
Or neem oil and soap.
