pH meter questions

I just bought a Hanna pH/ec/tds/temp meter and it's expensive so I want to know what is the best way to store the meter, I've heard to use distilled water or pH calibration solution to store it but Hanna recommends using their storage solution so what's the best route or does it not matter??

Also with the TDS calibration, do I need two different calibration solutions as you do with the pH or just one??

I imagine the instruction manual will cover all this but Adobe isn't working for me so I can't download the instructional manual and don't want to have to wait to receive it and find out then have to go buy all these calibration solutions, I'd rather get them now and be able to use it once I get it....

The ph bulb is constructed of porous glass and must not be allowed to dry out. I use ph 4.0 during storage. I do use ph solution 7.0 and 4.0 and 1500 ppm for calibrations.
