Ph Problems?

Soil Grow. Temps 75-79. 150w Hps. There about 4 weeks in flowering. Both of them getting the same (Big Bloom). Ph in is around 6.8 but comes on around 7.9 I really dont know what to do anymore.

Plus the buds are growing but not getting any taller.

if its 7.9 then your too high in PH...im not sure how your getting 6.8 and then getting 7.9...is that before and after you add nutes?? I know that TigerBloom will bring down your PH and it even says on the bottle youll need to use a PH up...does the big bloom say anything like that in or around the directions??

Im using normal tap water it comes out around 7.6 out of the tap. When I mix everything up I try to get the ph around 6.8. But its been coming out around 7.9.

I would flush and see if that helps your situation. It shouldn't come out higher than what you put in.

Yes ms.fox. How can I do that I have ph down. Do I lower my ph more now since its high.

Marijuana thrives in neutral to slightly acidic mediums. Soil and soilless mixes should aim for pH of 6. Hydro growers should go slightly lower which helps prevent pythium and other root rots-- 5.8 to 6.2 is ideal.

What kind of soil are you using? I would flush, but I wouldn't use your tap water. Even if you let it sit out, there could be extra things that are not good for your plants that do not evaporate. I would use distilled or R/O water.

if your still that too high with a ph runoff reading...then you still need to come down some..

Cool then I will change the water that im using. Sounds good. I was going to flush but I just gave them water yesterday. Is that why I have the messed up tips.

gallons of soil x 3 = gallons of water to flush. Yes, I would flush right away.

EDIT: Check you runoff ph after each gallon of soil to see if there are any improvements.
