Fellow growers,quick question for anyone that grows both auto and photo type. Do photo period cannabis seeds take longer to germinate than regular seeds? I have to regular seeds in rockwool and they have popped but haven't grown. Usually within 2 or 3 days they are already seedlings with the autos I have grown. I have them under my hps wrapped in plastic for humidity. The seeds are old too don't know if that plays a part in that as well. I know patience is key to any grow just wanted a Lil reassurance as these are my first photo period plants. Thanks in advance
Photoperiod vs autoflower germination rates
Photo period and autos should react the same. We haven't noticed any differences other than autos of course flower when they are ready to. My guess is that the older seeds needed a little extra to get wet and start the germination process started.
