Strain Name: Purple Berry Diesel
From: Trinity Gardens Collective
When: Jan 2011
Grade: A
Type: Hybrid
Price: Free Sample
Looks: Very frosty, medium green with darker red hairs
Smell: Fruity-berry scent
Taste: Bit of a sharp/petrol flavor to the smoke that had a subtle taste of raspberries and blueberries
Buzz Type: Very strong sativa buzz
Buzz Length: 2+ hours
Best Medicinal Use: Cerebral creativity and projects/chores not requiring focused thought.
Overall: I'm not sure on the lineage of this strain, but the name fits the smell, taste, and buzz perfectly. I actually expected a little body stone from whatever was bred into this to give the "Purple" (typically indica) portion of the name, but I got a nice sweet berry flavored smoke yielding a 420% sativa buzz. While my brain was relaxed and unfocused, the cerebral buzz was VERY upbeat, yet spacey. I would not recommend this strain for evenings, due to the upbeat/high energy and unfocused buzz.
