Rain effecting bud?

I have an outdoors grow, was wondering since in the fall, there is usually alot of rain that occurs during the september/october months, could this rain effect the resin and bud of a maturing plant?

Wet conditions (rain, high humidity) during late flowerering can lead to bud rot/mold, and can ruin an entire crop.
