Security question

I hear all this talk about the man being able to locate grow rooms with IR technology and thermal heat imaging etc. How much of a concern is this if the lights are air-cooled and the heat vented into a basement or somewhere?
Also would 2 1000 watt hps lights and related fans etc be enough to make the red flags go up at the power company? thanks

you'll be fine with 2000 watts.. just concentrate on the smell..
