SCOTTSDALE - A 2-day medical marijuana seminar scheduled for the end of the month seeks to prepare businessmen and women in Arizona's new medical marijuana industry.
Colorado-based Greenway University is holding an industry event at Talking Stick Resort on Saturday, January 29 through Sunday, January 30.
The workshops aim to educate enrollees on the laws before implementation goes into effect.
Other topics include dispensary operation, growing and cultivation, legal procedures, nutrition, and politics, according to a press release.
There will be video presentations, product testing and business management classes.
It costs $295 to attend the event.
