Stan’s Second Grow, Bruce Banner & Sour Diesel

Girls all seem to be doing well. Got my scrog net installed last night inside the tent. Won’t be long before I flip!

Girls have been loving life under the scrog. These pictures were taken Tuesday, after installing the previous Friday.

Flipped the girls last night. 12/12 cycle now. Gave them a good flush, will let them dry for a few days then get into flower nutrients. Having a hard time tucking branches now. Will have to let them grow up!

Just a couple quick pictures. I am letting the inside girls stretch up, I should have plenty of room for them to grow and raise the light. Getting a little crowded, I've been plucking leaves here and there that are covering bud sites, I think I'll try defoliating this time around. I had read around 3 weeks into flower is a good time. Outside girls doing well, hadn't fed them for a while because we kept getting rain every couple of days, gave them some nutrients this morning.

I attempted to do some more tucking last night but I dont think its helping. The shoots that have formed from branches being previously tucked are too tall and I have nowhere to put them. Now I'm just creating an uneven canopy by trying to tuck more. I'll see how they react I guess but I may untuck them tonight.

The stretch is real! In an attempt for a more even canopy I did a little more tucking and some bending tonight. Also started plucking more leaves here and there to open things up.

Tent is looking full! Used some pipe cleaners to hold some branches down a little more. Excited to watch these buds form soon.

Starting to see signs of flowering. Woot!

Buds are filling out a little more. Outside girls are getting taller and bushier! Starting to really put off some scent.

Love the LST, and the perlite on the bottom of grow vessels... I am gonna add that to my clone cups for sure...

Thanks big bud fan, I like having that extra layer of drainage on the bottom. What are you growing currently?

So I was a bit nervous, but I decided to take the knife to one of the bruce banner plants in a defoliation attempt. I trimmed a lot of the lower fan leaves and just left the tops and outer leaves in tact. I am curious to see how it responds. The other bruce banner had a major growth spurt, so I took some time to really tie it down and see how some late lst work treats it. The two sour diesel are looking very happy so I dont really want to alter them. I do need to trim stuff below the net on them. Any defoliation advice appreciated!

Girls seem to be happy. Been feeding every other watering, two days apart. So essentially twice a week. Haven't noticed much difference in the plant that was stripped yet, I assume it will take a little while to notice changes.

Plants are doing well. Today marks the end of the 7th week of flowering. Three days ago I gave them their last feeding. Getting excited to harvest! Some of the bruce banner tops are a little wispy, so I gave them a snip in a backbuilding attempt.

Sour d is looking real good. Starting to turn purple. Today is 57 days of flower and I think shes about ready. Was checking out the trichomes and there's a little mix of orange starting to come up the stalks. Couldnt get a good picture of them, hands are too shaky.

Lost my outdoor crop to thieves. Weren't even ready to harvest, so just a huge waste. Sometimes I have no faith in humanity.
