Suitable strain for Climate

Hey guys i was wondering of anyway i can findout what strain would be best for a California climate? What strain loves hot weather and dry cali weather? I want a super gnarly sativa strain and an indica and i just need resources or ideas to start my first grow. I grow cactus very successfully and have all the soil nutrients, pumice and peat moss to grow a gnarly plant.

Cannabis is a very resilient and extremely adaptable plant (a weed, actually) so just go with the strain that you feel you're gonna like the best, in my case the AK-48, Aurora Indica, and Blue Mystic were my strains of choice, mainly because of the short flowering period.
I'm sure that there are strains that grow better in that area (I believe the OG variety is 'native' from there so that'd be one of my choices) but I think you'll do well with whatever strain you go with.
