Swapping/mixing led and HPS

Hey!


We just built a ~130W LED panel with a friend, and i was wondering if i can mix it with HPS, or swap them during veg and/or flowering. I would like to see how they perform against a 250W hps some day, but having big buds is more important now (and also the option to revert back to HPS fully if there are issues with the LED).
Or should they be completely separated for some reason?
Anyone has any experience regarding this?

The biggest issue I have had when attempting this is blocking the light from the HPS light with the panel for the LEDs. If you put some tight angle lenses on the LEDs you can raise them high enough to keep them out of the coverage from the HPS. LED's do not have nearl the penetration power of HPS.
