Hey everyone,

First, I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge - I've learned soooooo much.

So, I have a beautiful outdoor 'lady' that is about 2 weeks into flower and is showing what I think are just swollen calyx. But, I've been surprised by males in the past - so I wanted to ask the experts.

These are not in clusters - there are only two alternate at the nodes; they're not on stems; and they do have one dark hair.

My gut is female but maybe hermie?

Thanks for your help.

That's a female, buddy.

The female flowers are those with the white hairs, males do not develop white hairs, they grow in a sort of grape bundle looking structure.

Those swollen calyxes are part of the plant and not related to either males or hermies. They are always there and as the plant get bigger so will those.

Male flowers grow in the same places where female flowers do. (the budsites)

You're good, take good care of that lady.

That's what I thought, but my other plant of same strain isn't showing them. I knew it wasn't a male but I don't have any experience with hermies so I wanted to be sure.

Thanks for your reply.
