Venting 2 different size tents with one fan?

[Sangmang]

6.5' x 6.5' veg tent
2' x 4' flower tent
6" 400cfm vivosun fan
Passive exhaust

Can I:
Run 4" ducting from each tent. Increase both 4" ducting to 6" where they will connect to a 6" Y(wye) adapter that connects to the fan that is pulling from both tents and gets vented directly outside. Also i would like a 4" carbon filter inside the flower tent only. Is it ok to have reduced duct size when the combined area of the smaller ducting is greater than the fan size? And will filtering only one tent present issues?

the size of the duct tape is not as important as the volume of the suckation. you have to remember that majority of air will be coming from the tent that is closest to the the equipment and if it does not have enough suction then it won't do any good to the first tent.
