Police say they think a driver wasn't paying attention when his truck crashed through the front of a medical marijuana dispensary Friday afternoon.
The crash happened at the Northside Alternative Wellness Center, located in the 4800 block of N. Market.
The truck took out the corner of the building and in the process knocked a vehicle parked in front of the building, pushing it up the road.
Employee Katie Beaman said she had just taken a customer to the back of the store when she heard a loud bang. She says the customer then started yelling for her grandson who was sitting in the car parked outside the store.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
"Now the owners are scrambling to keep the doors open. We are a small business and we try to do a lot of good work for our community and everyone who works here depends on this job. I am just so thankful everyone is okay," Beaman said.
The owners of the store are out of town in Seattle.
