What can cause the bud to be looking lumpy?

Hey guys was wondering can somebody tell me what can cause the bud to comes out looking lumpy just like chun li hair on street fighter? lol......... i only get it on a couple of plants out of the bunch, some said is cause by heat stress, any input would be appreciated.......

We would love to see some pics of this lumpy bud. I get some lumpy tops sometimes due to my light being too close. It causes some odd foxtailing but only on the tops... Maybe your experiencing the same thing?. Sometimes it's genetics, ive had some short and fat lower growth come out lumpy looking too..

too late they already curing in my jar lol! but i will take a pic if they ever pops up again which hopefully not because it makes me feels like i fail my grow, i dont think is the strains they all came from the same mother plant and it only happen to some of them

Is the strain mostly sativa? Sativas have a tendency to foxtail. This is a good thing, they look kinda like dread locks.
