Where to prune?

Hey y'all Smoke2j's here with a question. Now tomatoes and mj have similar needs and growth patterns, I grow alot of tomatoes. When I tend my plants I remove the suckers from between the branches to force more energy into the tomatoe, makes them tasty. Can I do the same with mj? Pics of the process would be helpful, I don't want to cut off my flowers.

2j's if I am not mistaken, those suckers would be your budding sites. It would be best not to remove them unless you just want to grow leaves, which I don't think you do. Got me some heirloom striped tomato seeds for this summer looking forward to spring.
