Why is my plant short?

I planted my seed in a peat pellet and it is now at 8 days. The cotyledon leaves are burned from tin foil but I don't use that anymore. Is the plant short? Could the peat pellet be holding back the roots from growing? Thanks tips would be great! BTW I have 1 300w and 1 150w lights so I'm not lacking that and also I am using mg with 30% perlite

Looks just fine for a seedling of that age to be honest

Peat pellets/plugs/pucks which ya want to call em is hardly going to stunt growth... i use them all the time & have some seeds 3 day old seeds from germinating with roots growing out the side of em already.
