Older adults are invited to join the Yolo County Library for a presentation about how to use cannabis to treat conditions and diseases common to seniors from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Tim Schimmel, owner of Kind Farms LLC and board member of the Yolo County Cannabis Coalition, will discuss using cannabis to treat AIDS, anorexia, arthritis, cachexia, cancer, chronic pain, glaucoma, migraine, severe nausea, persistent muscle spasms and seizures. Following the presentation, Schimmel will answer participants’ questions.

This event replaces the first hour of the regularly scheduled Active Older Adult Wisdom Circle. All are welcome to stay when this program resumes from 11 a.m. to noon.

No reservations are required and all programs are free to attend. For more information, contact Joan Tuss at 530-757-5588 or joan.tuss@yolocounty.org.
