It would be ideal if you could keep soil alive. If you have room somewhere indoors plant something in it, keep watering it. I would take the containers as they are and plant some clover (or anything else) in them. Whenever you are ready to use the soil for cannabis again, you can chop and drop the clover and it will add to your soil.

I'm assuming you plan on recycling the soil (smart move!), it would be cool if you tried one single no till container with your super soil. I'd like to see how it plays out.

You can add to soil via top dressing, but no taking soil out of the pot, give it a go, it will be cool.
