Dry ice is the least labor intensive, and its yield and quality is dependent on the screen you choose.
Bubble bags are quite a work out especially if you don't have a mixer/drill, but yield very well and have multiple "settings" so to speak for quality.
The washing machines are quite pricey, but take 90% of the work out of the equation and yield top notch hash.
BHO can yield outstanding quality and strength concentrates provided you're using top quality butane and top quality plant matter, but are very dangerous to those inexperienced.
You can safely do all of these methods and get outstanding end results, it depends on what you personally prefer work/cost/health/quality wise.


But if you're interested in your own concentrates and want to find out more about doing it safely, check out supercritical co2 extraction.
there are designs out there, or if you're handy you can make a rig yourself to blast your own herb with co2.
Its going to cost 500-1000$ depending on size/retail/configuration etc...
once its set up though, you can run a pound of material twice for 30$ or less. (average return is 8-15% of total weight)
