I just got hold of my new water pipe and a week later I feel a tad let down. When I went out to buy water pipes I was really excited so it really sucks that I'm starting to feel unsure about it.
I got one with a downpipe that removes with the bowl, but now I've seen that you can actually get these built in to the water chamber and just have the bowl that comes off?! Seriously, dripping water all over my table every time I clear the bowl is not ideal. So make sure you get one that has this built in!

If you want something a little fancier then you should purchase a percolator bong at www.herbtools.com/bongs/percolator.html, they cost a little more than the standard water pipe but the extra filtration makes them more than worth the costs. Check out some videos online and you'll find some great reviews from owners of different percolator bongs
