I believe that CBD is good for topicals, too. THC targets the pain but CBD will target the inflammation just like if you ingested it. I'm not 100% sure about this. You might want to check with our Jedi Master, SweetSue. :laughtwo:

:laughtwo: Turns out CBD doesn't work as well in topicals as we'd expect, so the professionals have taken to using THCa to counter inflammation. The best ratios I've come across for topicals was 60% THC, 40% THCa, and a minuscule amount of CBD to potentiate the THC. I read recently that they're beginning to look at beta-Caryophyllene as a terpene for anti-inflammatory treatments. We already know it activates the CB2 receptors, the most abundant in the skin, so it might be a good idea to look into strains high in it for use with topicals.

If you use THCa in a topical you need to store it in the fridge. THCa is known as an "unstable molecule", in that it aggressively converts to THC when subjected to heat and light.
