Hi 420, excellent site, all I've done is read read n read lol.
Been trolling on Renegade's threads, especially the AG thread.
Can someone answer the question on PH please. Can I use aquarium PH up & down or does it have to be Hydro specific?

don't do that. It will work but still don't do that.
Buy general hydroponics pH down (which is mostly used)..
I have never used Ph up NEVER it is still sealed bottle since last 6 months.

Check pH of your tap water or the water you are going to use for the plants if it is above 7 than no need for ph up..
Also only use gh ph down because you do not want to mess up the plant and spent your time treating deficiencies it is very very exhausting
