Oven decarbing

Hmmmmm.. maybe I should scrape up some pennies and buy a temperature gun. This decarb stuff is tricky. My oven says It was at 230 for two hours. The oil was in a Pyrex dish. Maybe the oven doesn't maintain temperatures properly. I have a hot plate I use for my vac purge setup, that might work. I have a couple crockpots too. I'm gonna make this work eventually. It took an hour or so for my oil too reach 230. I turned the oven up to 330 and kept checking the temps with a laser thermometer. I turned the oven down to 240 and that kept my oil at 230 in my oven. It was all done with the digital thermometer.
