Ramblings of the Mad Scientist

Never have been a blogger so if I screw this up, I am sorry. If you look at my posts since August when I joined you will see I like to experiment. Although I really like hydro, I think my experience with Aero has been enlightening to say the least. I have found that you should always get good results with hydro, but some methods are better than others depending on the budget and space you have. I have learned so much about what it was I did wrong previously and what I should do to prevent those things from happening. That being said, soil is easier than hydro by a lot! Mistakes can be made with both, but over-fertilizing or under fertilizing in hydro is easy to avoid with the right meters, but that requires constant monitoring. As I move along with my grow I have to be careful not to get too big to handle what I have growing.
I think that the people who post here and try to be perceived as people that are doing it and not make money doing so are either liars or have too much money to care. When I see entire houses being remodeled into grow houses I have to ask..really? That is for your personal use only? Yeah right...It's OK to provide for people who don't have the room or skill to grow, but when a person makes their "extra money" growing, then it is for profit. If you accept a "donation" for your product, you are selling, whether you think it is for profit or not. I will be giving some plants to a friend that just got her card recently and I share and trade my clones and buds with other card holders, but no money ever changes hands. So...are we in it for the meds or the money? Good question to ask yourselves....
