Research Lab 1 - Symptoms & Tests

Over the last year and a half, I have had a slew of symptoms hit me like a truck.

I have presented with:
  • high eosinophils
  • weight loss (100.4 pounds over all)
  • fatigue
  • body aches
  • nausea and vomiting

I have created a daily health tracking binder that records my weight, overall feeling once waking, my meals for the day, and washroom times & habits (which haven't really changed, but I've been informed that they weren't exactly normal in the first place... interesting).

Tests that have been completed to this point:
  • chest x-ray (normal)
  • abdominal & pelvic ultrasound (normal)
  • oodles of blood work (normal - higher eosinophils, but never mentioned)
  • autoimmune testing (normal)
  • colonoscopy (biopsy taken of nodes in terminal ileum)
  • endoscopy (3 biopsies taken - gastritis)

I have an abdominal & pelvic CT with contrast this evening. From there, hopefully we will have a solid diagnosis. I also have an MRI next month to check on the RCVS (reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome), but neurology seems to think it's corrected itself by now (4 years), despite the migraines.

From my findings, there are two distinct outcomes - Crohn's Disease or cancer. I have been researching CD since my symptoms fit more accurately with it. I will conducting as much research as I can to cure, or at least cause remission, from here on out.
