Seedlings under 400w hps

Hey guys... Thats my first time starting seedlings under a 400w hps. I'm used to grow from interior clones or exterior seedlings, and i was wondering if my 400w is too strong for the little seedlings ? Can i burn them ? By the way i'm hitting blueberry x new york city diesel ( blue city diesel ) thanks

I would suggest something smaller however put something transparent over the little guy would help a lot. maybe a clear tote with plenty of holes
