White Dwarf (Buddha Seeds) Journal

ORGANICS.

Soil (coco, perlite, vermiculite, worm humus). Feed with Bat Guano and Top Bud, from day 21.

Temperature outside is between 77 º to 90 º, hot I know, but is summer time here and there is no way to down it, so some fox-tailed are expected.

Humidity is maintained between 60% and 70% indoor by a dehumidifier, inside the grow box, outdoor it's around 65% during the day.

Monitoring PH and soil temperatures when dry and wet, trying to keep it in good levels, not so difficult in organics. Also catching and placing Ladybugs larvae and adults from the garden on it, to control pests (spider mites mainly).

Lights: From the Sun outdoor, from morning to evening in the shadows of trees, than go to the LED (75W into 23.5" x 23.5" x 47" Grow Box) indoor to complete the cycle. Initial 20/4

I'll put pictures from this beginning until harvest, be attentive!

Here the first day, after soak, the seed germinated fast, just two days after planted it came, as you can see in pic1

Cycle change to outdoor lights only, spending the nights outside because the heat indoor. Now this natural cycle is about 14/10 and temperature now is minimum 75 º at night. (DAY 49)

Hi, today is day 56, well, seems like it did not grow any more in tall, just buds getting bigger, as you can see on pic 17, 18, and have nice trichomes pic 19 and 20. Got the last shot of Top Bud and, from now, just pure water, no more feed. 2 weeks to go!!

Since the weather is very hot (temperature is 100 max at day and 79 min at night), I had to watering it only with cold water, to get soil temperature lower as possible, near 70, to avoid fox-tail, but seems didn't work too much, as you see in pic 21.

(DAY 56)

Some fox-tail because the hot season, no way to get colder than 80º at night!

Pic21

(DAY 56)

Today day 60, pic22, just to update an inform, it gone to indoor again, since weather changed drastically, now its raining a lot here and temperature downs to 80 at day and 70 at night. So the grow box is cold enough for now, lets monitoring temperature to see if it goes outside again or not. Cicle returns to 18/6. Did the last watering before harvest.

Pic22

(DAY 60)

Day 61 (harvest day from seed bank information on this strain is 63) but it's far from harvest, maybe more 7 days yet, there are trichs translucent and opaque, but almost no amber as you see in pic 23.

Since it seems to like the large period in LED lights/day lights and there is no rain anymore, it will be going in/out everyday again. Did a defoliation taking the big fan leaves (pic 24) out, more lights in side buds, to increase the yield, pic 25.

Weights:

Leaves and stems 1,12 oz, pic 30

Buds 3,70 oz (before dry), pic 31

With this I end it for now, after dry and cure I come back to report about weight, taste and general appearance. Thank you for follow, regards.

Hi, now day 69, it is dried already, I think because the dry days before harvest, just 3 days in the dark to dry well, stored in the jars to cure. The amount dried was good for an auto, 1,1 oz, pic 32 and pic 33. Tasted already too, very nice trip, can't wait to cure it all.

I applaud your documentation of this variety. It looks to be a nice quick grow! Thanks

I wanted to add one suggestion. Since you had this in a nice small square container I have had really good luck simply laying it down, propped up on a brick. You get the same effect of bending without the risk of snapping off a branch. I tie and pin down too but just thought I'd add that in. By laying her down the light can get to even more of the branches. They like it but of course who doesn't like to lay out in the sun!!

Updating, today I made the hash with the leaves from manicure, wow... it's very nice!!! Those leaves gave me about 0,1 oz. of pure hash, clear and resinous! No pictures because it was already smoked, :laugh2:
