MMJ Pain Cream Salve Recipe

Someone suggested I add the recipe, so others can try it and give feedback, or maybe test different things, since I don't get herb very often to test new ideas. The measurements given are not hard and fast, and I have used glycerine, grape seed oil, coconut oil, separately and combinations of, the only real difference in what you extract the best part the healing part with.
Sorry if this recipe is repeated anywhere, if has taken me about 2 hours to write, and re-write it to make it easier I hope, to understand.

There is only 1 hard and fast rule, do not overheat the oil with the cannabis in, I don't know what water boiling point is in the State, butthe rest of the world its 100 degrees, anything over that heat, everyone agree's will lose the healing properties.

Fast Cannaglycerin tincture
Ingredients
.
2 grams of good bud shake, or best bud
8 tablespoon approx food grade vegetable glycerine or Coconut oil or grape-seed oil (eg: none alcohol extract mediums).

Method New
NEW Learning: Soaking Marijuana in boiling water the marijuana will get rid of dirt etc but also most of the smell!! This shows boiling the weed, but I just soaked it in a cup for 20 minutes strained, dried off in very cool oven on a cookie tray until it was dry and crumbly

Method Usual
Preparation.

  1. Turn oven onto lowest heat it will work at.

  • Add 2 grams of (dried)Marijuana like fine breadcrumbs or put in coffee grinder the finer the better, put not powder.

  • gently warm until runny(microwave or bowl in hotwater)
    8-12 tablespoons of vegetable glycerine

Make Canagliss
put Cannabis into glass bottle with metal lid 8 oz Jam Jar is add
Warmed glycerine, put top on tightly and give it a good shake, stir if needed to make all cannabis coated with glycerine.

Put bottle with lid on tightly in oven, Shake at start shake every hour, then every couple of hours, then when you remember it, you can turn off overnight, (I leave mine on all night) and rewarm the next morning. I leave it for anywhere from 24 to 36 hours, depends how I feel.
Your oven should be low enough temp that you can touch bottle and it will be hot, but not burn, lid is hotter so use a towel when picking up to shake.
When it's done 24 hours warm, Turn off oven, and leave until the bottle is luke warm. Wearing cloves, then stain it with cheese cloth or coffee filter.

And repeat above, I sometimes to it 3 times, 2nd and 3rd lots won't be as strong, I've been told to make 2 and 3 lots at higher heats for each brew, never higher than 100 degrees but I mix them all together.. However you will probably want to know if this cream works for you quickly, so put the squeezed out cannabis pulp in a clean bottle in the fridge it can last for months. Or try putting some into capsules.

With the first straining, of the Canna glycerin or cannagliss

Wax base for salve.

1 part wax to 5 parts grapeseed oil or coconut oil, melt together until just melted, then allow to cool, and shake once it isn't too hot,

just add 1 or 2 teaspoonfuls of the Canna glycerine, and shake every 10 minutes while it cools down. It just stops the glycerin and wax separating. When I use more MMJ & glycerine for a start, I mix with a stick blender, then just blend until its thick and creamy.

Take about 2oz wax base and use mix together well. If when it's cooled it is too runny, add a little more wax, if too hard add more oil.
add an essential oil if you wish, teatree oil is great for added healing power, and covers smell, just 2 or 3 drops. otherwise use as is.

Things to consider.
I have made this recipe with 1 grams of bud, and half other extract mediums ingredients, and I've made it with 1 ounce of trimmings from harvest and I think 7 ounces of extract mediums, I just choose 2 grams for this recipe, so you can try several things with it, just to see what works and the effects. turn oven onto the lowest lowest heat, take out oven racks, and only leave 1 rack, places about 3/4 the way down the oven.

This is good for what types of pain?
I have given this made up cream to over 70 people now, with everything from a gout, to toothache, to chronic back and body pain to Parkinson's disease... I have another post about the guy with Parkinson's disease....
I have not found anyone that hasn't gotten at least 50% relief from Pain, usually though it's 100 % not pain for 5-7or8 hours. And it also works wonderfully on any skin condition like enema and even scars, I have revised the recipe while you left your comment, so you may want to re-read it quickly.

Cheers USD

Le me know how you go, I'd particularly like to know, how easy you find it to follow the recipe, once you find it works, think seriously about making about making a second brew with a different strain, I have another friend that's just made it the past weekend, she knew it worked so made 2 brews at the same time, it goes without saying that herbs from different plants, or even different parts of a plant will have different strengths.

Once I get my plants growing, I'm going to make a brew, but instead of warming in the oven, I'm going to put the glass jam jar into a winter sock, inside a dark container (Plastic), and put it in the corner of the grow room. Let the heat from the lights do the brew. It will take longer but I have a good stock at the moment

Beautiful recipe, but im alittle confused by a simple part. So after your mix has sat for 24-36 in low oven heat you take it out and let it cool, then you put it back in for another 24 hours? Or do you strain it 2-3 times? Thanks

To make it simple for you, forget the part that say's you can reuse the pulp to make more cream.
Just put in oven 1 time, and strain one time.

Hope you don't mine me reviving this blog post :). Is there a way to do this in a closed jar with a crock pot? Should I put a silicone pad under the jar, use a water bath, or just set the jar in there alone? I want to use a closed jar so I don't have to deal with skimming out the water which only engourages bacterial growth. I have planus lichen I want to try some simple MJ salve on and this is a great small scale recipe :)
