i bought regular soil when i planted these, all they have had is water, there were already fertilisers in the soil so i didnt buy any nutes. and i havent tested the ph of anything. the light i have them under is two plant growing fluorescent lights from lowes

Maybe I should just start all over again. I wanted to do an outdoor grow too. Ill just have too really invest more time and money for an indoor tent and lights and all the nutes and testing kits.

you need to be ready, your girls won't stop growing if your not ready. the more time wasted is = to less yield in the end!! Veg with a T5 and invest in HPS for flower and you will need 3-4x the space for flowering. 8-10 plant is good for 4x8 +1200wats minimum hps for descent yield and vigorous nute in flower!!

dbone4331, from what I see in your pictures, the length of stem suggest you have inadequate lighting as the plants are attempting to reach the source while not developing additional leaves.

When these fluorescent colored "grow lights" first came out I tried an indoor grow decades back and I experienced the same issues of very little leaf development. I kept my lights within inches of their tops and could never achieve proper development.

My background is in electricity as first a construction electrician, so I have some understanding about lighting. I did a quick search and found a good comparison of lighting options. ACF Indoor Plant Grow Lights & Information Guide

What you need to consider is "Lumens" which is the measurement of intensity and heat. I hope the link gives you greater understanding, but if not and I can be of greater assistance I'll do what I can, but I'm growing outdoors and there will be others with far greater experience with lights for indoor grows... What is exciting is the advancement of LED grow lighting as it uses far less energy and produces nearly no heat like florescent lighting but with far better intensity or Lumens...

so everything died except for 2. i built a makeshift box with some reflective material and one of the plants started to take off. all i could find in my area was lowes and all they sold they seemed like it wouldn't heart the plants was miracle grow liquid house plant fertilizer 8-7-6. i only used a few drops for each plant. i also found a few seeds in the bottom of a baggy and bought peat pellets yesterday to start them. any suggestions? oh yeah and i out a small fan in the grow box.

Augrowr-- when they started to stretch out like that i read online that thats what they do when they need light. I have a roommate that keeps telling me that all i need is to keep them in the window and to water them every couple days.... he grew plants like 30 years ago and it was all outside. ive been doing the research and watching youtube off people who devote there lives to this and he keeps telling me that im doing to much... he has 5+ gardens outside and a garden for growing food... i dont know what to think anymore..

if its female 1 is all you need.n P. from this pic watch your nutes. it may look like a little nute burn, just use strait R.O water. I only use plain R.O water pd of 6.5 -6.8 when this tiny.
