Is there any reason to exhaust during CO2 enrichment?

I run a CO2, propane fired generator in a totally sealed environment with A/C, fans, dehumidifier & humidifiers so I can pretty much control my entire room with no outside ventilation. The growing was amazing all the way up until the 3rd week of budding. The buds are plentiful but lacking some...

Cannabis Plant and Pest Problem Solver: Pictorial

I've done loads of research, including here and find that using lime will drop the PH all the way to neutral, no further. There is a product called PH Up and PH Down. They work good but, if you use them, use caution. A little goes a long ways and you can really chase your tail trying to get...

    Using miticide to kill spidermites

I'm happy to update that it has been 41 days since the last breathing spider mite was seen in my operation. Tetrasan & Pyrethrum TR are the answer to our age long bain of watching our plants fight off those little creeps.

Cannabis Plant and Pest Problem Solver: Pictorial

It's beginning to seem to me like most every problem I come across is due to one of two things, 1) I'm not giving it enough of something or 2) I'm not giving it enough. So, stop and assess.. a) are your lights bright enough, b) are they getting adequate air and air movement c) are they getting...

Cannabis Plant and Pest Problem Solver: Pictorial

This is my first line of defense ANYTIME and, on ANYTHING, when it comes to my room. Can't thank you enough for, not only the invaluable data, but the clear photos, many symptoms can be confusing when you don't have clear photos for comparison. Thanks again.

Mylar for a cheap reflective material

Look into Panda film, very thick, light blocking with white on one side and black on the other. White is a much better reflector than Mylar and much stronger. And, about .07¢ a sq foot. Panda Film Black and White Poly 10' x 100' ft Light Grow Tent Reflective | eBay

    Using miticide to kill spidermites

I can attest to the success of using Tetrasan. It doesn't kill adult mites but I used it in conjunction with a Pyrethrums TR fogger which is a full 4% Pyrethrins compared to many foggers that are only 0.2 - 0.4%. It's been 16 days since I sprayed and I haven't seen a trace of anything moving...

    Lower humidity during flowering

I've since had to add a dehumidifier to my room. Running the CO2 in a sealed room creates a real fast build up of humidity, over 80%! I never had this problem before because I wasn't adding CO2 and I had intake and exhaust fans running. I've set the humidistat at 40% and it's holding steady...

    Lower humidity during flowering

I'm running a CO2 generator and A/C in a sealed room now and have just cut the lights back. I was having to run a humidifier when they were vegging just to keep it up close to 60%. Now that I've cut the lights back I am getting drenched in humidity, to the point where I'm looking at a...

    CO2 enhanced cuttings & CO2 Monitor

The plants in the first pix are 4 week old cuttings that have been 'enhanced' for the last 2 weeks with a CO2 generator. Incredible growth rate. The second pix is my laptop showing a CO2 monitoring program called ZG Viewer which is available with the monitor through CO2Meter.Com. I was able...

Is there any reason to exhaust during CO2 enrichment?

I run a sealed room and CO2 generator along with an A/C unit. No fresh air coming in and no stale air going out. The plants thrive on CO2 and they convert that to oxygen so there's the fresh air. My 1 month old cuttings are 3' tall, like they're on steroids. I keep the temps at 85° @ the...
