Ok here's the info. I had 15 plants under 1400 watt hps. Since I moved they went 3 days with a regular room fixture with the electric in the new place and missed a feeding. They're under just the 400 now n they look happily but they dont seem to be growing at the same rate(1 or 2 per day) this...

I dont think the leaves will hinder anything it you leave them on. Maybe a cpl that are actually blocking light. I trim but early in veg so new growth comes thru. Try tying down. And the sooner the better! 1stimeFarmer
