  • Hi Baked.

I was reading one of the GSC grow journals (don't remember which one) but you had posted that you wished there was an easy way to bookmark a post. Well, there is:

The little mark that is circled is what you click when you want to bookmark a particular post. The button to the left of it is if you want to share the particular post with someone (it will provide you with a link).
Hey...does anyone know of a good thread dedicated to TLO soil? I have a bunch or questions and insights that I would like to discuss with others.

@Teddy Edwards I like eggs! Haaa haaa. I did do a search. I was hoping to get pointed to some direct peer reviewed journals or threads. I'll keep reading though! Thanks.

Stoneotter grows in LOS and uses the Rev's method, which I believe you also use???

Thanks HG. I am following one of his journals on TLO I think. I'll have to go double check. Thanks for the heads up though!
Hi, BA! Thanks for the follow! Stay groovy my friend!

Woooo!!! First 4/20 order is in...on 4/19. Got some Pinkmann Goo and Sexxpot from @Weed Seeds Express ! Awesome 10 + 10 sale going on! WAIT...that means a purchase today doesn't actually count toward my 4/20 budget right?! I mean...makes sense to me if I explain this to my wife...right?!
I hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm hoping to get my first seeds of the season planted this weekend. This will be my third season growing outdoors. Previous two season absolutely sucked but I'm feeling hopeful that things will be much better! I hope everyone has a great season.

No seeds planted...couldn't make up my mind on which to choose. I may end up putting up a community poll. #1 priority this season will be the comparative grow journal though! So stoked I was selected.
Some of my favorite buds from the Romulan harvest. Thankfully was able to salvage a fair amount of buds. Crossing my fingers for a good dry and cure. Lifted my spirits yesterday when I was cleaning/trimming them up and my keeper piles were growing.

Not really feeling too happy or proud but today will be my first ever cannabis harvest. It was supposed to happen over the course of the past couple weeks. Two surgeries kept me from getting that done resulting in more buds damaged from pests. Truly sucks and heartbreaking. I had another enjoyable growing season and learned a lot. Unfortunately, this is 2 years in a row where everything seemed to go south so fast toward the end. Hurts the soul but we have to strive on. I'll probably share this to my journals too but just wanted to thank this forum and the community as a whole for the wisdom and help over the past couple years. Peace and blessings y'all!
Just figured out this evening that the browning and dying buds weren't caterpillars...it is bud rot. I have been pulling the spots off as I've seen them the past few days. Thinking that it was caterpillars, I have not treated it like bud rots and vicious crappy ass spores. I feel a bit defeated. Anyone have any advice to deal with bud rot? Is my whole harvest lost? Because after reading some articles, it doesn't seem like I'll be winning this battle. I'm ready for a fight though...

Just my personal experience (I grow every year outdoors and have experienced the same trouble) it is likely originating in the root system. Every section of plant is represented by a section of roots, and if you have some type of nematode or grub eating at them, it kills off the corresponding part of the plant. Since I started using mosquito bits in my soil/feedings, that problem has not recurred. Yours may be different, but it’s something to consider. Bud rot sucks.

I have found that the rot may also be caused by the poop from the caterpillars when it gets wet it gets moldy and spreads to the flowers the poop is in.
Woke up early today to a soft kiss from my wife that just got home after a graveyard. Decided to come downstairs, make a fresh latte, cook her some breakfast, and a quick wake & bake sesh with the PAX. It has been a fine start to the day! I hope everyone is able to find something today to bring a smile and some peace. Later
