SWICK Watering Systems: Letting The Plant Water Itself

Welcome, Newbudz. No experience with those pots. Good looking seedlings, though so you’re doing it right so far. I had best luck with 3 gal fabric pots. Good luck. BCDD

Cannabis Dust: Simple Consumption, Unexpected Potency

Hey, Folks. Been a while. Yes, it’s still my go to modality exclusively. I take a small dose 4-5 times a week. Not sure what your CBG strain consists of but be wary. My dose consists of moistening my finger tip and dipping it in my pot pot. Minuscule amount works well for me. I remember when...

SWICK Watering Systems: Letting The Plant Water Itself

I did. Used some hardware cloth (aka rabbit wire) to mold a cage around the float and covered it with landscape fabric to keep the perlite from infiltrating. Dropped some rocks in the bottom to hold it stable. Worked like a champ with no problems for over 3 years. Took it apart at each harvest...

SWICK Watering Systems: Letting The Plant Water Itself

I actually put a float valve in my basin that was fed by a 55 gallon barrel of mixed nutrients. As the basin level dropped by more than 1/4” it would automatically refill. I have a vacation home that I often frequent and didn’t want to let gardening interfere with my mountain trips. My garden...

SWICK Watering Systems: Letting The Plant Water Itself

I was using coco coir and feeding nutrients through the swick system. My attempt was to use minimum sized bags to maximize number of plants. TLOS is a different animal and way out of my wheelhouse so ignore my recommendation.

SWICK Watering Systems: Letting The Plant Water Itself

Informative video. Thanx for sharing. Novel avenues that are somewhat divorced from accepted standards we’ve been using but some points look very viable and worthy of experimentation. I see no reason not to use coarse sand instead of perlite; cheaper and probably less likely to attract mold. a...

Cannabis Dust: Simple Consumption, Unexpected Potency

Just an old cheap Mr. Coffee grinder. It will grind dry material as fine as flour and does a decent job even with higher moisture content. I’m pleased with it and I only paid about $12 for it a couple of years ago. Now it’s 20 bux on Amazon.

Cannabis Dust: Simple Consumption, Unexpected Potency

Hey, Scottsquatch. This is emphatically my only modality of ingestion and has been for over a year now. i got really stoned from smoking Colombian Gold once back in the early 70’s. It lasted for about 10 years. After 35 years of abstinence, I rediscovered cannabis in 2015 but found many years...

Cannabis Dust: Simple Consumption, Unexpected Potency

Man, I feel yo’ pain. It’s drudgery to me, too. I’m a bit anal about removing even the smallest stems. In the past I’ve read that the stems are covered in minute barbs that can become embedded in the stomach lining and cause irritation. Can’t confirm the fact but rather not chance it until...

    Harvest & curing for edibles

Yep, I remember that thread. Lot of folks got good results from this modality. I think I remember one member that had found edibles of any kind ineffective but had pleasurable experiences with the dust product. What I found amazing was the fact that some were eating it by the tablespoonful. Not...

    Harvest & curing for edibles

Hey, Cargi. Yes, there are numerous size capsules. I’ve used size 0, 1, 3 and 4 gel caps. I’ve weighed a size 1 and size 4 cap. Both were lightly tamped and weighed about 200mg and 80mg respectively. This can vary a bit depending on how finely its ground and moisture content. Dosage can vary...

    Harvest & curing for edibles

I’m in the same boat, Corgi. Curing is unnecessary but drying time may be of importance depending upon your end product. I wrestled with numerous methods of extractions and infusions for 5 years with varying success. I‘ve come to the conclusion the more we manipulate this beautiful plant the...

    Simply bake weed

Works incredibly well!! I struggled for years trying to find an effective edible or extract that gave a well rounded result similar to smoking. I’m now a firm believer that the more we manipulate this fabulous plant the more of its goodness we loose! I mourn all the wasted time and effort...
