Well, I got one answer from them that said not to go 12/12 because it wouldn't get the plant flowering as it is an auto.
However today at day 38 I spotted the first pre-flowers so maybe all will be good :)
So I have this FastBuds Purple Punch Auto, it's 37 days now since germination, and there is not a single pre-flower to be found. Otherwise it's very lush and healthy. Usually I see them at about 28 days or so.
So I flipped it to 12/12 today. My question is do these "non-auto" autos flower now...
I just had a very similar problem with an auto. At about 40 days from germination, mid-stretch I got these brown spots on top leaves. It quickly got from bad to worse. It was most prominent on top leaves that were getting most light. I was at about 900 ppfd (metered with a phone meter).
My...
Btw I have to say that these ONA gels are surprisingly effective! I always thought they were just another "air fresheners", but they really do seem to "neutralize" odors as advertised. Not perfect but I am impressed.
The fan has two speeds, it is now running on the lower setting (I forget what tje speed is) but I remember checking when I bought it that even the higher setting is within the filter's specs.
Thanks guys for the all the answers!
The exhaust just dumps into the same space afraid.. maybe that is the problem yes :( I'll try to think of a way to get it out of there.
The filter brand is PrimaKlima (I'm in Europe). The exhaust does come out into the same space where the inlets are so yeah, that may very well be one part of the issue.
I realized yesterday that the smell is almost non-existant in the morning right after the lights go on, and gets worse and...
Yeah the top left configuration is what I have. Is the top right one pushing air through the filter?
I actually just bought an ONA jar actually on my way home :)
I have one plant at 10 weeks,it's very close to harvest and quite big and bushy (and smelly), other is 5 weeks.
Yes I have the blower pulling air in, inlets are two 5 inch holes, outlet is a single 5 inch one.
I would need help with my smell control. I have a small grow tent, 2x3 feet and 6 tall. I have a 200w SpiderFarmer LED. The blower and the carbon filter are the right size for each other. The problem is the filter doesn't really filter the smells. I get a nice negative pressure where the tent is...
Why is it the conventional wisdom that when scrogging or otherwise tying down/restricting a plant's vertical growth, you are supposed to stop doing it once the plant starts flowering and goes into the stretch? What would happen if you just kept on tying it down until the stretch is done?
