    Xperienced grower with a question

'ello again everyone, listen, I just harvested my two ladies 9 days ago. Currently, the harvest from each plant is in its appropriate labeled jar for curing. I put the Indica dom. harvest in one jar and then the Sativa dom. harvest in the other jar and labeled them accordingly...

Question: why does the cure die at -55%?

just as the title says... anyone know have any input on that? I realize why really high RH percentages are bad, as the higher the number is, the greater risk and chance of mold developing. But, without the aid of Google.. I can't, for the life of me, figure out on my own just why the...

    Curing my bud

I'm sure someone has already told you this, but curing your harvest isn't going to happen overnight kid. People seem to always want what they want, when they want it.. and unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Anyhow yeah, curing takes time my friend. Your harvest is NOT going to be...

    Curing my bud

This is also true. Well put my friend.. well put. What you said about patience.. couldn't be more true. Patience is absolute KEY.. whenever it comes to growing. Not only growing, but the drying and curing that comes after harvesting. :peace:

    Curing my bud

Ahmen to that my friend. As I mentioned in one of my threads/posts.. if you let the product air-dry too the point where the middle stem SNAPS into two seperate pieces.. chances are, you let it air-dry too long.. therefore you won't be able to take advantage of any kind of cure.. and if you...

    Plant Smelling Of Eggs?

I personally never foliar feed. In fact, in my 5 years of growing, I've NEVER foliar fed. I just don't see the need for it. The benefits just aren't high enough IMO.

    Where did the stink go?

30% RH is a little too dry for drying or curing. For drying, you want a RH level between 45% to 55%. Any lower than that and it will dry too fast therefore locking in the starches and chlorophyll, which in return gives the final product a nasty 'green' taste and is harsh on the smokers...

    48 Hours of Darkness?

Anyone ever tried flushing the plant with ice cold ice water 2 to 4 days before harvesting? This will also help trick the plant into pushing out more resin because it tricks the plant into thinking that fall/winter has come. I tried it several times. The results are there.. and they're...

Cure All Cure: 420 Magazine's Connoisseur Cure Technique

all I know is that if I were to let my harvests air-dry for 10 days.. LOL, holy shit those buds would be CRISPY dry. Not only that, but if you let them get TOTALLY dry like that during the air-dry.. guess whats gonna happen?!?! You won't have any moisture left for the cure. So, with that...

PH levels too high. I'm screwed I think

Yeh, I played with.. er well, that doesn't sound right. I experimented with the Lemon Juice over the weekend to see how it would do. I also mixed in some wood chips into the soil to hopefully help bring the PH level down just a little more. I flushed both ladies this past Friday with the...

PH levels too high. I'm screwed I think

Yeah, like I said.. I'm going to be checking the PH levels of both ladies every few days for sure. I'm too close to a beautiful and lustful harvest to have things go sour on me you know? I'd probably cry.. yes cry, if my grow wound up fucking up during the last 2 or 3 weeks of flowering...
