Hey, just wanna warn ya...I don't think those plants are showing deficiencies at the base where the first fan leaves are. Generally those leaves are covered pretty well from the above leaves, it's a natural part of the plants cycle to lose leaves that aren't getting much light.
Just my opinion...
Re: Flower Report G13 Haze GLH 180W
About the haze deal, I suspect you got a g13 leaning phenotype. Typically, a GOOD haze takes 12-20 weeks for full maturity. Most of these are at least 90%+ sativa. Now let's look at g13 haze(assuming no other genetics have been involved), g13(full blown...
Lookin good so far!
Eager to see how that 150 CMH performs. That's the open rated bulb that only works on pulse start metal halide ballasts right?
Either way, pullin up a seat for the ride
Re: Flower Report G13 Haze GLH 180W
I dig the idea of opening up the plant so to speak to let more light in, great idea!
To answer your question, the plant that I grew that yielded more and was bigger was in fact the plant NOT wormed. I can't actually say if it was a genetic thing or not, but...
Re: Flower Report G13 Haze GLH 180W
Lookin nice as usual ;)
I just wanna put my little tidbit in about worms and pot plants. Well to make a long story short, I think if you want to use worms you really need 500+ worms, and plenty of DEEP soil for them to thrive. Worms like a couple feet under...
Re: Flower Report G13 Haze GLH 180W
See, that's much better to see what's going on. I would say hold off a tad bit on the nutes but I wouldn't get too bent out of shape over those tips.
Overall she's looking pretty healthy!
Good work.
Re: Flower Report G13 Haze GLH 180W
Hey Sana, I was curious, do you have any CFL or other full spectrum light that you could turn on and take pictures with? It's hard to diagnose any problems under LEDs since you can't really tell what the leaf color is.
However, it looks like your plant is...
re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers
@above poster: C99 was created by Mr Soul of the Brothers Grimm I believe, it was a special jack herer(Cindy) that was crossed to Shiva skunk to beef up the weak stems. Then it was backcrossed to the original mom, cindy, like 4 or 5 times, thus...
Re: Flower report G13 haze GLH 180w
Hey there, looks like you got a pretty nice little gal there. :)
I do agree with the other fellas here, you should definitely raise the lights. You're overthinking everything. If you have 10cm of room that's not nearly enough for nice big fat nugs. I've seen...
Hey organicsmoke, I've seen a couple different charts around and they all say the same thing..the high times chart even is the same:
Chlorophyll a: 430nm & 662nm
Chlorophyll b: 453nm & 642nm
Carotene Xanthophylls: 460nm & 550nm
Phycoerythrin: 400nm & 650nm
Phycocyanin: 500nm & 700nm
Just for...
Hey organicsmoke,
Far red is 735nm(there are more for farred/IR but this is most common), Deep red is 660nm, Red is 630nm, and Red-Orange is 615nm. Hope this helps :)
735nm spectrum is used for timing, as the sun emits lots of red and IR near dusk and dawn, when the sun is going up or down. It...
Re: MotherPlant Setup Questions...
The easiest way for me to explain topping is you cut the very most top tip of the new growth off(only do this after 3 or 4 nodes growth). The whole point of topping is that you're separating the main stem of the plant. Doing this promotes lots of side...
Re: MotherPlant Setup Questions...
Personally I'd go with shop lights(fairly cheap considering the price of other lighting systems), just get 2 or 3 fixtures(4 or 6 bulbs), for good healthy mothers and lots of clones, I'd say 2ft in diameter for each plant.
I would also recommend doing your...
Probably, and there's nothing wrong with that!
I grew out some real nice plants under cfls, the trick is positioning them so the least amount of light is wasted. But I'm sure you already know how they work lol.
