thanks guys. can't wait to see these lil ones get going. keeping the new sprouts under the 24/0 shoplight. guess they'l look good after 3 or 4 weeks there. as far as what i know there no evident way to determine a seeds sex. be so much more convenient if there were... =/

looks like you've done some research. good luck with your grow. after about a month under the 4' shop lights for 24/0 or 18/6 the plants will be nice and big. they'll stink too. with just one plant in the closet its reeking up my room even with a small air purifier. but you have some time...

yea i've been looking into buying some neem oil. keep bugs away. i may put down something around the area to keep animals away... cant afford to have anymore plants getting eaten up and all. i still need to prep the area. we'll see how it goes

thanks peri! haha just got the first sprout, seed coat and all. yea fuxin varmints. thought i'd go to walmart to get some kind of repellent to protect them but im considering a more home-made alternative. moth balls anyone?

re: My Very first grow 12/12 Mango nice plants peri! mine seem to be around the same size. id imagine we'll be harvesting some of our plants around the same time. and thats pretty sweet to taste the fruit of your labors already. agh cant wait for my ladies to grow some big stinky buds...

ok sweet. i officially have a female. there are definitely some white wisps poking out. i tried taking some pictures but they dont show a whole lot of detail. def keeping that one indoors. i figure ill keep the certifiable female inside and eventually clone her. bought a small febreeze air...
