I am looking for recommendations for a good, reasonably priced extractor. I currently use the boiling with butter method and want to do better. Any help would be appreciated as there are so many crappy products out there.

Just posting a follow up. At 9 1/2 weeks still no noticable amber trichomes, perhaps this was due to the cool growing environment. Harvested all and everything is kick ass!

Anyone having luck with LED lighting? I have to start thinking about reducing heat for the summer. My HPS is out. So I can either do CFLs or LEDS. Just not sure if the LED technology is there yet. I'm looking for experiences with specific products as there is a lot of cheap crap out there...

Lots of good ideas, thanks. Is there a liquid that will attract them? I could put it in a regular gnat trap. I have experimented but have not hit on anything that worked.

Has anyone found anything organic to control fungus gnats? The sticky traps don't seem to work as unless they happen to land on them. The liquid traps work but not on these pests. I don't want to actually spray anything on the plants.

I have been using Mir-Acid on my outdoor grows for years to keep pH down. I think this is good, if nothing else it may bring nute prices down as Miracle Grow has never been an expensive product. A little competition is good. Now let's hope they make something good!
